Description of position/project
The position entails a deadline-driven working environment, and will require the employee to transcribe news events and corporate conference calls.
Requirements
Preferred applicants must have a degree in Business, Communications, Journalism or English, must be self starters, able to work without supervision, and be able to communicate effectively via email. Applicants must have the ability to follow instruction and meet deadlines. Applicants must also have at least one year of work experience.
Applicants must have a PC and a reliable Internet connection as well as the capacity to work and submit outputs on or before the deadline. Interested applicants should have at least one year of work experience, excellent English communication skills, fast typing speed, and access to needed software. A transcription software with foot pedal is also required. Instant messenger software is required for communication with other members of the team.
